The Georgia Bulldogs lead the country in scoring offense and two other key categories entering their game against Cincinnati
The Georgia Bulldogs are predicted to make the NCAA Tournament according to ESPN's latest bracketology on Dec. 9. Georgia (8-1) has big nonconference wins over Georgia Tech, Xavier and Florida State to start the season. The Bulldogs' lone blemish is a three-point overtime loss to Clemson.
Georgia basketball has been high-flying to start the 2025-2026 season. The Bulldogs are No. 1 in the nation in blocks (8.8), fastbreak points (28.7) and points per game (99.9). Georgia has the second-best scoring margin in the country and has been held under 80 points just once this season. Georgia's disruptive defense has fueled the Bulldogs' offense.
ESPN has Georgia as a No. 8 seed in March Madness, but a lot can change over the upcoming months. The Bulldogs are projected to play No. 9 seed Wisconsin. Georgia also received five votes in the Coaches Poll in another measure of the Dawgs' success.

Georgia's next game is against Cincinnati (6-3) at State Farm Arena in Atlanta. ESPN gives Georgia a 70% chance to beat Cincinnati. The Georgia-Cincinnati game will be televised on ESPNU and tips off at 2 p.m. ET on Saturday, Dec. 13.
