Kicking field goals has taken on a new atmosphere and reached new lengths in 2025. That's because of the intrigue created by the "K-balls." One can speculate that legs are getting stronger all they want but the reality is the NFL allowing "K-balls" back into the game has changed the lengths teams are willing to go to get three points. Sixty-yard field goals were beyond rare. Now, they are attempted in games weekly. What is it with these "K-balls," anyway?
