According to the tz newspaper, his return wonβt take place in 2025, but right at the start of 2026. The plan is clear: Musiala is expected to play again on January 6, in the friendly against Red Bull Salzburg. The attacking midfielder has ramped up the intensity of his training sessions and is progressing pain-free.

At one point, a comeback before the end of the year was considered, but Bayern prefers to play it safe and take no risks. Musiala suffered his injury in July during a clash with Gianluigi Donnarumma. Now, everything has healed and, if all goes to plan, Vincent Kompany will be able to count on him from January onward.
