One of the Browns’ top 2026 NFL Draft targets just officially declared

Penn State OG Olaivavega Ioane has officially declared for the 2026 NFL Draft.

Cleveland got some good news today as one of their potential 2026 NFL Draft targets, Penn State OG Olaivavega Ioane, just officially declared.

With all three of the Browns’ interior starters set to become free agents following the 2025 season, it’s imperative that the team not only finds replacements but upgrades as well. Aside from Joel Bitonio, Cleveland hasn’t been able to find consistency along the offensive line this year, and the position group will have to be completely revamped next season. The easiest way for Andrew Berry and Co. to attack it in 2026 is most likely via the NFL Draft, and this year’s offensive guard class is chock full of talent, beginning with Olaivavega Ioane.

Ioane, a 6’4”, 330-pound bulldozer from Graham, WA, has been one of the top offensive guards in all of college football over the past two seasons. He started 16 games for the Nittany Lions at left guard in 2024 and has started every game there again in 2025.

His ability to control defenders with insane power and grip strength is incredible, and he consistently makes 300-pound defensive tackles look like weaklings at the point of attack. He’s also a top-notch pass protector, which bodes well for his prospects as a day-one starter in the NFL.

Pass protection is sometimes an issue with interior players once they get to the pro level, which is one of the main reasons why Zak Zinter hasn’t seen the field in Cleveland yet. He’s a decent run-blocker, but hasn’t been able to adjust as a pass-blocker.

Needless to say, Olaivavega Ioane is going to be a name to watch for the Browns as we get closer to the 2026 NFL Draft.
