Since leaving Liverpool, Matos has embarked on a managerial career. He started out managing Maritimo in Portugal, where he did well enough to catch the attention of Swansea City.
The Welsh Championship side hired Matos in November and he's been tasked with turning the club's dire situation around.

Having been there and won it all, and experienced what it means to represent Liverpool, he's someone to keep a close eye on. Not now but in the future his name could easily be popping up as a potential heir to Arne Slot and as someone who could continue Klopp's legacy at the club.
