Professional Fighters League (PFL) is set to touch down in Lyon, France later TODAY (Sat., Dec. 13, 2025) to stage PFL Lyon inside LDLC Arena. The event will mark the final production for the promotion of 2025 as it prepares to gear up for a revamped look in 2026.
The card will feature a Heavyweight title fight between Vadim Nemkov and Renan Ferreira. While Ferreira won the 2023 Heavyweight tournament, as well as winning the PFL vs. Bellator “Champion of Champions” Super Fights World Heavyweight title a year later, this will be for the inaugural PFL Heavyweight belt after the promotion opted to do away with the tournament format in order to make the championship picture less complicated.
Case in point, Ferreira is coming off a first-round knockout loss to Francis Ngannou in Oct. 2024…which was for the symbolic PFL Super Fights World Heavyweight championship. As for Nemkov, the former Bellator Light Heavyweight title holder is eyeing his first taste of PFL gold after beginning his run with the company two-for-two, taking out Bruno Cappelozza and Timothy Johnson in back-to-back fights.
In the co-main event of the evening, Cris Cyborg will make her long-awaited return to action to face off against Sara Collins for the inaugural women’s Featherweight title. Cyborg was last seen defeatingLarissa Pacheco in Oct. 2024 for the symbolic PFL Super Fights Women’s Featherweight title, her eighth straight win. As for Collins, she will be making her promotional debut, earning her shot against the fearsome and legendary striker by defeating Leah McCourt under the Bellator banner in Sept. 2024.
This event will also feature the PFL Europe Bantamweight Final between Baris Adiguzel and Dean Garnett, as well as the PFL Europe Lightweight Final which will see Connor Hughes take on Aleksandr Chizov.
