Louisville blasts Memphis State, 99-73

Some things never change.

Louisville’s pretty tough to beat on an average shooting night. A good shooting night by the Cards is going to be enough to knock off most teams in the country. An exceptional shooting night by U of L? Well, Memphis State just found out what that looks like.

The Cardinals connected on 18 of their 35 three-point attempts and 12 of their 19 shots from inside the arc on their way to a 99-73 demolition of their longtime rivals Saturday afternoon inside the KFC Yum Center.

Led by Ryan Conwell’s 17 points, six Louisville players scored in double figures and the same number of Cards made multiple three-point field goals.

Adrian Wooley came off the bench to hit five triples on the way to a season-high 15 points. Both Kasean Pryor (11 points) and J’Vonne Hadley (9 points) hit all three of their attempts. Mikel Brown Jr. (16 points) and Khani Rooths (10 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists) each knocked down a pair as well.

On the flip side, Louisville limited Memphis to just three made triples and 41 percent shooting from the field overall.

Four wins by a combined 53 points.

And with that, Louisville’s 2025 Rivalry Tour comes to an end.

Monster opportunity (and challenge) Tuesday night in Knoxville.
