Brandon Royval vs. Manel Kape squared off in a Flyweight bout earlier tonight (Sat., Dec. 13, 2025) at UFC Vegas 112 inside UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Kape opened the fight with some chopping low kicks, pressing Royval backwards. Royval ripped a nice body kic but absorbed a counter right hand in response. Royval was active with his kicks but didn’t commit his weight to all of them. Kape flurried forward with a couple nice body punches. Royval blasted another kick, but Kape backed him into the fence and unloaded with a vicious right hook.
Royval hit the floor in a heap! Royval tried to pop back up but found himself under a hail of fast power punches. Royval went out cold at least once and then woke back up as the referee moved to intervene. “Raw Dog” protested, but this was a clean KO from “Starboy.”
Is this Kape finally living up to his potential? He just blitzed the No. 2-ranked Flyweight in the world and made it look pretty easy. Now riding a three-fight finish streak, there’s chance we see Kape vs. Joshua Van sometime in the next few months. Between the recent victories of Kape, Kyoji Horiguchi, and Tatsuro Taira, Flyweight has really heated up!
Result: Manel Kape defeats Brandon Royval via first-round knockout
