Steelers injury report: James Pierre OUT vs. Dolphins

The Steelers cornerback is out.

The Pittsburgh Steelers held their final practice of the week on Saturday, which means game designations for injured players. Cornerback James Pierre has been ruled out. The veteran had an interception in Week 14 against the Baltimore Ravens and is in the midst of a breakout season.

Additionally, offensive tackle Andrus Peat is out with a concussion, as is defensive tackle Yahya Black. Fellow defensive tackle Derrick Harmon is questionable with a knee injury, as is tight end Darnell Washington. T.J. Watt was ruled out ahead of time after getting surgery to repair a partially collapsed lung. Every other player who appeared on the injury report does not have a game designation.

The Steelers will be looking to get to 8-6 on the season. A win would also all but end the Dolphins’ playoff hopes, as they would fall to 6-8 on the year.
