Brahim for his part featured yesterday evening, as Real Madrid made the trip to Mendizorrotza for a league meeting with Deportivo Alavés.
En route to a much-needed return to winning ways for Los Blancos, the former AC Milan man was introduced off the bench during the 2nd-half.
And in the process, Brahim played his final club minutes of 2025.
The 26-year-old was last week afforded an expected place in Morocco’s official squad for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations.
With the tournament set to be kicked into gear later this week, Brahim has therefore departed Spain’s capital, to link up with his international teammates.
Depending on how far Morocco advance in the AFCON, Real Madrid could be without their versatile attacker for as many as five fixtures either side of the turn of the year.
