Hononegah boys improve to 8-1 with a tight win at Boylan

In a rare Monday night NIC-10 boys game Hononegah and Boylan both came to play. The two teams battled hard on Steve Goers Court before Hononegah emerged with a 71-67 win.

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO/WQRF) — In a rare Monday night NIC-10 boys game Hononegah and Boylan both came to play. The two teams battled hard on Steve Goers Court before Hononegah emerged with a 71-67 win.

The Indians were led by a 21-point effort from Damariea Briggs. Wyatt Henson dropped in 18 points and Oba Fasalojo scored 13. Boylan was led by Alex Ambrose with 18 points. Christian Kennedy scored 14 and Maden Fuehrer 11.

Hononegah improves its record to 8-1 overall and 4-1 in the NIC-10. Boylan is now 5-4, 2-3. For highlights watch the media player above.
