Glasgow Rangers are showing themselves to be attentive to the French market. As per Foot Mercato, the Scottish club are interested in Pierre Ekwah, who is currently in a dispute with AS Saint-Étienne regarding the validity of his contract. The Frenchman has not played for the club this season since their relegation to Ligue 2.
Pau FC’s Daylam Meddah (23) has been playing, however, and he has been impressing, too. Pau FC currently sit seventh in Ligue 2 at the halfway point of the season. Meddah has been a key reason for their good form.
The midfielder, who is also capable of playing in defence, has been an ever-present in the side, and his performances have caught the eyes of two clubs, Foot Mercato understands. The 23-year-old is the subject of interest from Glasgow Rangers and Serie B side Monza. Both clubs have made enquiries for Meddah, whose contract expires in the summer of 2027.
