CABARRUS COUNTY (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Hornets star Brandon Miller and his family were on hand at the Cabarrus County Boys and Girls Club to provide three families with early Christmas gifts as part of the Miller Family Foundation.
The families were treated to PS5s, new bikes and other assorted items.
Miller says he’s always gravitated toward lending a helping hand, even when he doesn’t have to. Moments like this, Miller says, he and his family don’t take it lightly.
“I think it’s more important than basketball. People always see the on-court stuff, but I don’t think they get a chance to see everything that goes on outside of basketball. We’re here today to brighten up some faces, give back some gifts and of course, have some nice conversations with some families,” Miller said.
Miller and the Hornets are back home on Thursday to host the Atlanta Hawks.
