Germie Bernard, Justin Jefferson, Jam Miller, Tim Keenan III, Deontae Lawson have all accepted invitations to play in the Panini Senior Bowl.
Five Alabama seniors have recently accepted invitations to play in the 2025 Panini Senior Bowl.
Germie Bernard, Justin Jefferson, Jam Miller, Tim Keenan III, and Deontae Lawson are the players who will attend. All of those players had fantastic regular seasons and helped Alabama get to the College Football Playoff. With impressive showings in Mobile, hopefully they can improve their draft stocks.
Taking place in Mobile on Jan. 31, here is a recap of those five players' regular seasons, as well as a look at their current draft stock entering the CFP.
Germie Bernard, Wide Receiver
Germie caught 57 passes for 762 yards and seven touchdowns during the regular season. He also rushed for 101 yards and two touchdowns on 5.9 yards per carry. He is a very deserving recipient of the Senior Bowl invite. He was a reliable security blanket all season for Ty Simpson.
Bernard is a versatile weapon who can run multiple different routes well. He projects as a wide receiver who will complement an elite wideout in the NFL. He projects as a second or third round pick in the 2026 NFL draft. Bernard is a multi-tooled playmaker who is effective as a short, intermediate, and deep route runner. He is also effective lining up in the backfield and running end arounds.
Justin Jefferson, Inside Linebacker
Justin Jefferson recorded 73 tackles, 4.5 TFL, two sacks, one forced fumble, and one interception. The 6'1 versatile linebacker was very active in Kane Wommack's swarm defense. His length, speed, aggression, and knack for making big plays were critical for the Tide this season. Womack's defense is aggressive, opportunistic and fast. Jefferson was yet another speedy playmaker capable of making big plays for the Tide. At 6'1, 227, Jefferson has some versatility and range. With a good showing in Mobile, he can improve his draft stock.
Jam Miller, Running Back
Jam recorded over 600 all purpose yards this season to include three touchdowns. Jam is a great between the tackles back for the Tide. Although he didn't match his 2024 stats, Miller still has the body and athleticism to find his way on a NFL roster. Jam has the burst, explosion, power, and contact balance to be an effective running back in the NFL. He will likely be a part of a committee, but can still effectively produce at the next level.
Tim Keenan III, Defensive Tackle
Tim Keenan III was an effective run stopper at defensive tackle this season. He recorded eight solo tackles, three TFL, two sacks, one forced fumble, and two fumble recoveries. The senior defensive tackle was most effective when it mattered most by making fumble recoveries at key moments during games.
He shows athleticism and twitch as he plugs interior gaps and can disrupt game plan. Keenan is 6'2, 300 lbs., and shows quickness, athleticism, and good hands for a college defensive tackle. A positive showing in the Senior Bowl can definitely up his draft stock.
Deontae Lawson, Inside Linebacker
Deontae Lawson is another versatile playmaker in Kane Wommack's 4-2-5 swarm defense. The senior recorded an impressive 40 solo tackles, three TFL, one forced fumble, and two fumble recoveries. This is a great stat line for the 6'2, 228 lb. linebacker.
Lawson showed an ability to tackle in space and rush the passer. He was always a name regularly being called when making tackles. He was also a force that defensive coordinators had to be aware of. He received a second team All-SEC selection for his efforts this season. If he can consistently win matchups in the Senior Bowl, he will help elevate his draft stock.
