How all 32 NFL starting quarterbacks stack up entering Week 16 of the 2025 season.
Quarterback power rankings for the 2025 NFL season heading into Week 16 see plenty of different scenarios looking teams and players in the face.
Playoff push or putting their game on tape to make a statement for the future?
Regardless of the type of pressure, QBs are jockeying for spots once again this week in our weekly poll. One big feature matchup between two top-five quarterbacks shook things up at the top.
Following another action-packed slate in Week 15, here are the latest NFL quarterback power rankings.
32. Kenny Pickett, Las Vegas Raiders
Last week: N/A.
Just brutal for Pickett as he stepped in for an injured Geno Smith. The Raiders were shutout by the Eagles and Pickett failed to surpass 100 passing yards.
31. Brady Cook, New York Jets
Last week: 32.
Aside from Cook's first-career touchdown pass, there was nothing to write home about for the Jets in a huge loss to the Jaguars.
30. Shedeur Sanders, Cleveland Browns
Last week: 28.
After some early momentum in the pros, Sanders got his welcome to the NFL moment: A 31-3 loss and three interceptions against the Bears.
29. Tyler Shough, New Orleans Saints
Last week: 32.
Shough led a clutch drive to throw a curveball in the NFC South, beating the Panthers 20-17.
28. Cam Ward, Tennessee Titans
Last week: 27.
Ward avoided ugly miscues in a down game for the rookie. Ward he two touchdown passes but couldn't keep up with the Niners in a 37-24 loss.
27. JJ McCarthy, Minnesota Vikings
Last week: 29.
Where the hell did that come from for McCarthy? The Vikings beat the Cowboys 34-26 and it was a huge part because of McCarthy's positive play.
26. Jaxson Dart, New York Giants
Last week: 26.
The Giants allowed the Commanders to take the late lead and Dart failed to bring his team back. He's still young, but he made it a one-score game in a 29-21 loss.
25. Marcus Mariota, Washington Commanders
Last week: 25.
Mariota was not tasked with much in a 10-for-19 passing game, but he did enough with both his arm and legs to beat the Giants in a meaningless game for both.
24. Jacoby Brissett, Arizona Cardinals
Last week: 23.
Brissett had numbers. His team lost 40-20 to the Texans. A lot of fourth-quarter points in garbage time.
23. Tua Tagovailoa, Miami Dolphins
Last week: 17.
Tagovailoa has been benched. Perhaps we will see you again one day.
22. Bryce Young, Carolina Panthers
Last week: 23.
What goes on with this Panthers team and Young? What are we going to see week-to-week?
21. Joe Burrow, Cincinnati Bengals
Last week: 14.
Is Burrow done with the Bengals? A 24-0 blowout loss to their rivals in the Ravens might have done it.
20. Phillip Rivers, Indianapolis Colts
Last week: N/A.
Who would have thought? Rivers returned and scored his first touchdown pass in five years... but lost to the Seahawks.
19. Kirk Cousins, Atlanta Falcons
Last week: 24.
Cousins brought out a big game (and in prime time) to beat the Bucs in a 29-28 final. Cousins had 373 passing yards and three touchdowns.
18. Aaron Rodgers, Pittsburgh Steelers
Last week: 21.
A steady go from Rodgers in a freezing 28-15 win over the Dolphins. Rodgers had 224 passing yards and two touchdown passes.
17. CJ Stroud, Houston Texans
Last week: 20.
Stroud kept the Texans rolling but stomping on the Cardinals. The QB Had 260 passing yards and three touchdowns in a blowout win.
16. Brock Purdy, San Francisco 49ers
Last week: 19.
Purdy had an impressive day leading his offense through the air. Purdy had three touchdowns and 295 passing yards.
15. Jalen Hurts, Philadelphia Eagles
Last week: 18.
Hurts was not asked to do a ton against the Raiders, but he was efficient and of his 12 completed passes, three were touchdowns in a 31-0 win.
14. Trevor Lawrence, Jacksonville Jaguars
Last week: 16.
Lawrence was the Player of the Week in the NFL with six total touchdowns (5 passing), in a blowout win over the Jets.
13. Jordan Love, Green Bay Packers
Last week: 12.
The Packers had a tough task in one of the NFL's best currently in the Broncos. Love's two interceptions did not help.
12. Caleb Williams, Chicago Bears
Last week: 15.
Williams keeps on rolling with his Bears. In a 31-3 rout over the Browns, Williams had 242 yards and two touchdowns.
11. Baker Mayfield, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Last week: 10.
Mayfield was not specifically bad, but the Bucs can't buy wins and momentum lately.
10. Sam Darnold, Seattle Seahawks
Last week: 11.
Touchdowns were tough to come by in this one. Darnold still won a huge game in a 18-16 final against the Colts (and had 271 passing yards).
9. Lamar Jackson, Baltimore Ravens
Last week: 9.
A solid with for the Ravens over the Bengals. Jackson was not tasked with much but the win was the most important thing and he got it.
8. Dak Prescott, Dallas Cowboys
Last week:7.
While Prescott did have 294 passing yards, a loss to the Vikings sinks the Cowboys' playoff chances. Prescott failed to score a touchdown at the worst time.
7. Patrick Mahomes, Kansas City Chiefs
Last week: 5.
A season-ending ACL injury. See you in 2026, Patrick.
6. Bo Nix, Denver Broncos
Last week: 8.
Nix showed the NFL the Broncos could be for real. He had 302 passing yards and four touchdown passes in a 34-26 win over the Packers.
5. Drake Maye, New England Patriots
Last week: 4.
A hot start followed by a disappointing loss for the Pats and Maye.
4. Justin Herbert, Los Angeles Chargers
Last week: 6.
Not the most pretty win, but at divisional one over the Chiefs, 16-13, was a very important outcome for the Bolts. Herbert was impressive, specifically, because of the injuries on his offensive line right now.
3. Jared Goff, Detroit Lions
Last week: 3.
Goff and the Lions got back on track. A win against the hot Cowboys and 309 passing yards.
2. Josh Allen, Buffalo Bills
Last week: 2.
The Bills are getting the best out of Allen right now. He is pushing himself back in MVP discussions again late in 2025.
1. Matthew Stafford, Los Angeles Rams
Last week: 1.
We left Stafford at No 1 last week despite a bad game assuming this past week would happen. Three TDs in a 45-17 win.
