The Buffalo Bills still have a lot of work to do to win over some within Bills Mafia.
It would seem the Buffalo Bills are back… a little bit, in the eyes of Rumblers and the rest of Bills Mafia. After yet another thrilling comeback win, this time against the New England Patriots, Buffalo is now 10-4 and doing a good job reminding people that Josh Allen isn’t going away come playoff time.
Though the Bills are still only the six seed in the AFC playoff race, they may be one of the most dangerous teams in the bracket. Experience matters a lot in the postseason, which Buffalo carries in spades. However, coaching and defense are equally important in the playoffs, and that may be where a fair share of those in Bills Mafia are just a bit hung up on handing over their share of confidence in the team’s direction.

We’ve said for most of this season that results in these polls are due to 30,000-foot expectations. It’s Super Bowl or bust in 2025, and rightfully so for Bills fans. It’s a noble cause to rest one’s fandom on, but it leaves zero room for error. But that’s exactly where fans have been all season long, and where they remain even after the Bills tossed the Patriots’ AFC East Champions hats and t-shirts back in the merch truck last weekend.
Right now, just 51% of voters are confident in the direction of the Buffalo Bills.
In national polls, readers were asked about what most surprised them in Week 15. The Indianapolis Colts making it a game against the Seattle Seahawks right up until the end behind a 44-year-old Philip Rivers led the way at 33%. Just behind that was the Kansas City Chiefs being eliminated from the playoffs (27%).
In third, it’s the Patriots blowing a 24-7 halftime lead to the Bills (21%).
Voters were also asked to weigh in with thoughts on the outcomes of all Week 16 games, with the Bills taking votes over the Cleveland Browns.
