Real Madrid attacker Endrick has finalized his loan deal with Olympique Lyon and will play in the French club until the end of the season, according to a report from Fabrizio Romano. Lyon will pay 50% of Endrick’s salary with Real Madrid and the French side will not have an option to permanently buy the attacker when the loan deal expires, per that same report.
Endrick has had a rough time in his second season with Los Blancos. The Brazilian attacker has only played 99 minutes in just three appearances and while he seemed ready for a breakout campaign when Real Madrid gave him the number 9 shirt, he is now leaving the club hoping to play relevant minutes in the Ligue 1 to continue his development as a player.
The French Ligue 1 seems to be a good fit for Endrick to play consistent and competitive minutes, so it will be interesting to see if he can earn that kind of role and showcase his talent.
