Steelers work out 12 linemen Tuesday

Pittsburgh tests out potential depth in the trenches.

The Steelers continue to work out potential names for their current and future roster, with 12 names trying out for the team on Tuesday per KPRC2’s Aaron Wilson.

According to Wilson, the Steelers worked out defensive linemen Ryder Anderson, Keondre Coburn, Christopher Hinton, and Jahvaree Ritzie, and offensive linemen Matthew Cindric (C), Braeden Daniels (G), Josiah Ezirim (T), Jarrod Hufford (C), Jason Ivey (T), Satoa Laumea (T), Corey Steward (T), and Lorenzo Thompson (T).

Coburn is the biggest name of the group. A sixth-round pick in 2023, he’s played in 20 career games with one start. He has 22 career total tackles and one tackle for loss, winning a Super Bowl ring his rookie season with the Kansas City Chiefs. The 6’2, 322-pound defender scored a 5.12 RAS coming out of college.

The Steelers will take on the Cleveland Browns on Sunday at 1 p.m. EST.
