MINNEAPOLIS (KELO) — The Vikings are getting set for their Christmas Day showdown with the division rival Lions.
Minnesota has won three straight games after going winless in November. However, the Vikes will be without starting quarterback J.J. McCarthy, who suffered a hairline fracture on his throwing hand in Sunday’s win at the Giants.
Now, they’ll turn to rookie Max Brosmer, who threw four interceptions at Seattle in his most recent action before last Sunday.
“I think it’s really difficult to be in that situation to come out and continue to work and prepare the same way because you look back and like, ‘oh, do I have to change my preparation or tweak small things?’ And that’s ultimately what you do … is just tweak really small things,” Brosmer said.
The Vikings and Lions are set to kickoff at 3:30 p.m. CT on Netflix.
