Jay Hilgenberg talks ‘85 Chicago Bears on 2nd City Gridiron’s limited series, ‘85 at 40
Merry Christmas to all who celebrate and Happy Holidays to all!
While you are sitting around this morning having some eggnog and opening presents, why have Christmas music on in the background when you can have a stellar interview with Chicago Bears legend Jay Hilgenberg!
Jay Hilgenberg was featured on the latest edition of our limited series, ‘85 at 40, where we talk to former players and media about the historic 1985 Chicago Bears season.
The Bears center joined Jeff Berckes and myself to talk about his career in Chicago, that 1985 season, and his candidacy for the Hall of Fame.
This is a really fantastic interview, and Hilgenberg shared multiple things that I think even the biggest Bears fan who knows the 1980s era well will learn some new items.
