TOPEKA (FOX 43) – This week’s Scholar Athlete Of The Week is James Marcotte from Lyndon High.
Marcotte is a three-sport athlete, competing in football, basketball and track. He was recently named to one of the First Team All State Linebackers in 8-Person football, all while maintaining a 3.94 grade point average.
Marcotte will go into a random drawing for one of two $2,500 scholarships from our sponsors, Briggs Auto and Kansas 811. Every high school athlete we feature throughout the school year will have the chance to win. You can nominate scholar athletes on our website.
