Maxx Crosby expected to need knee surgery this offseason

Las Vegas Raiders defensive end Maxx Crosby expected to have surgery on his knee during the offseason.

There has been plenty of controversy this week for the Las Vegas Raiders with two games left in the season. It started with Brock Bowers going on IR, along with Jeremy Chinn, dispaying the team might be in tank mode. The following story was about Maxx Crosby having an issue with the team attempting to shut him down, and the team winning that dispute.

Crosby left the facility, sparking trade rumors across social media. The team made a statement today about the situation before Week 17.

Shortly after this post, Adam Schefter reported that Maxx Crosby might need surgery on his knee during the offseason. He has been battling the injury all year, and it appears the team was attempting to make the former All-Pro solid.

Crosby is known for his motor and work ethic, and forcing him to sit out would cause a commotion. He finished the season with 10 sacks and two forced fumbles this year. The trade rumors will be exaggerated in the spring, but it is a possibility given the Raiders’ struggles and the lack of a sign of winning in sight.
