George Kittle is ‘highly unlikely’ to play tonight; Bears add 2 players to the injury report

The Bears added DJ Moore and Olamide Zaccheaus to the injury report.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported early on Sunday morning that San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle is “highly unlikely” to play tonight against the Chicago Bears. NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport said Kittle will give it a go pre-game to see if he can play.

Ricky Pearsall, who is also listed as questionable, is “likely to play,” per Schefter. That’s good news for the 49ers’ passing game.

The Chicago Bears must have some kind of bug going around. On Saturday, right tackle and Pro Bowl snub Darnell Wright was added to the injury report with an illness. Wright did not travel with the team on Saturday and was officially listed as questionable.

On Sunday morning, wide receivers DJ Moore and Olamide Zaccheaus were added to the injury report with an illness and were also listed as questionable. Chicago already ruled out their most targeted receiver, Rome Odunze. Moore is second on the team in targets with 73, while Zaccheaus is third with 63.
