ESPN predicts score of Georgia football vs. Ole Miss

ESPN predicts the score of the Georgia versus Ole Miss game in the Sugar Bowl after correctly predicting all CFP first-round games

ESPN writer Adam Rittenberg perfectly predicted the winner of every first-round College Football Playoff game. Rittenberg also went on to predict how the rest of the playoff would go.

Rittenberg predicts that the No. 3 seed Georgia Bulldogs will beat the No. 6 seed Ole Miss Rebels in the Sugar Bowl. He has Georgia winning the game 31-21, which means the Dawgs would also cover the spread.

Georgia is looking to avoid a second straight Sugar Bowl loss after falling to Notre Dame last season. The Bulldogs will have a rematch against Ole Miss, where Georgia handed the Rebels their lone loss of the season. Rittenberg believes that Georgia quarterback Gunner Stockton "had his best performance of the season" in UGA's 43-35 win over Ole Miss.

"Georgia also is playing some of its best football collectively during the stretch run, especially a defense that struggled at times against Chambliss in the first meeting," Rittenberg wrote. "I love this Ole Miss team, but I don't see Georgia exiting the playoff so soon again."

Georgia has shown improvements since the first meeting with Ole Miss, but so have the Rebels. We don't think this game will be as high scoring as the first meeting. Both teams have been playing much better defensively, but there's still going to be a lot of points scored between two high-flying offenses.

ESPN's Georgia-Ole Miss score prediction, more

Rittenberg predicts that Georgia will beat Ole Miss, but he has the Bulldogs falling in the semifinals of the playoff to Ohio State. He predicts Georgia will lose 19-16 in a low-scoring Fiesta Bowl. He goes on to predict that Ohio State will win the national championship against Indiana.
