The Titans loss yesterday moved them back into the top 5.
The Tennessee Titans moved back to fourth in the 2026 NFL Draft order with their loss to the New Orleans Saints yesterday. I said before the game yesterday that at this point seeing Cam Ward develop is more important that draft position since the number one overall pick was already out of reach. The Titans will be able to get a blue chip player picking inside the top eight.
Now, the Titans cannot pick any lower than seven. There is still a chance they could get the second overall pick with a loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars and the other three-win teams all winning in week 18, but I will never cheer for a loss to the Jags.
One interesting note, the Titans no longer have the toughest strength of schedule faced in the league. The Cardinals moved ahead of them by .001 yesterday. The Titans moved back ahead of the Cardinals based on tie breakers now that four teams are tied at three wins.
