FC Bayern is taking steps toward the future with its fans by its side.
Bayern Munch president Herbert Hainer embraces the club history, but is also eager to see it pave its way into the future — with fans by its side.
“FC Bayern is a club that values dialogue – something we’ve been putting into practice for many years, not least through our numerous member engagement activities. My personal highlight in this regard was the revival of our promotion walk around Lake Tegernsee in the summer, 60 years after our promotion to the Bundesliga,” Hainer told FCBayern.com. “500 members were randomly selected to take part, and this is how we imagine FC Bayern: with new generations following tried and tested paths, moving into the future with a sense of responsibility that stems from our history, Franz Beckenbauer, Uli Hoeneß and Karl-Heinz Rummenigge have established that FC Bayern differs from other top international clubs due to its family-like character. We must and will all continue to live by this. In this spirit, to quote our fans’ new anthem: ‘Forever forward, FC Bayern!'”
Bayern Munich’s family atmosphere for players and fans alike is a big piece of the club’s appeal to the masses. With the philosophy firmly in place, it is a secure feeling that the club will continue to value its fans for 2026 and beyond.
