Kewan Lacy struggled in the regular season meeting against Georgia.
But when Ole Miss met the Bulldogs in the College Football Playoff quarterfinal, Lacy was at his best.
That included a history-making touchdown.
When Lacy found the end zone on the ground, he became just the fifth SEC player to ever run for 23 touchdowns (or more) in a season.
That list looks like this, via ESPN Insights:
- Derrick Henry, 28
- Najee Harris, 26
- Tre Mason, 23
- Tim Tebow, 23
- Kewan Lacy, 23

Not bad to tie Tebow on a list in SEC history.
Henry and Harris were as dominant as it gets.
Lacy is a special talent himself, maybe overshadowed a bit in the national spotlight by upstart QB Trinidad Chambliss, but clearly a crucial piece to what the Rebels do.
Lacy hasn't had a spotlight as big as the CFP before.
On this stage, he joined a historic list. Tebow actually did the halftime show on ESPN, too.
It was a special night for the powerful RB.
