The Pittsburgh Steelers don’t seem eager to make a change.
There is a lot on the line Sunday night when the Pittsburgh Steelers host the Baltimore Ravens in the final game of the 2025 NFL season. The winner wins the AFC North and goes on to host a playoff game during wild card weekend, while the loser is eliminated from playoff contention.
Additionally, both teams have been centered around chatter surrounding their respective head coaches. Both Mike Tomlin and John Harbaugh are names floating around coaching hot seat rumors, with both fan bases wanting change. However, Dan Graziano reports that neither the Steelers nor the Ravens has entertained moving on from their head coach.
“That chatter is out there, but I’ve heard nothing from inside either building to indicate either team is contemplating a change,” Graziano writes. “Most of the speculation seems to stem from fan discontent, and neither the Steelers nor the Ravens are the type of organization to make compulsive decisions based on fan discontent.”
Many fans have speculated about the Steelers potentially trading Tomlin to a team like the New York Giants or Tennessee Titans if they were going to move on from him at all. His contract runs through 2026 and has a team option for 2027.
