Brahim Diaz may not be enjoying the level of continuity he would ideally want at Real Madrid, but his situation has taken an interesting turn thanks to his performances at the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations.

While minutes at club level have been limited, his impact on the international stage has not gone unnoticed.

According to a recent report from Fichajes, Brahim’s form at the tournament has sparked concrete interest from several major European clubs.

The outlet mentions that two clubs leading the chase are Tottenham Hotspur and Borussia Dortmund.

Both sides are already exploring possible moves, convinced that Brahim could be a decisive player in projects that would place him at the centre from day one.

The appeal is obvious because Brahim is entering his prime, carries elite-level experience, and still has room to grow.

Real Madrid want to keep him

According to the outlet, the club would not even entertain discussions for offers below €40 million.

His performances at the AFCON have significantly boosted his market value, and those inside the club believe his worth is still rising.

Furthermore, amid the noise around his future, Brahim is not actively on the market.

In fact, his continuity at the club appears almost assured as the player and the club reached an agreement on a contract extension several months ago, which will see his deal extended from 2027 to 2030

That said, Brahim is far from settled at Real Madrid, as he wants more responsibility and a clearer role. His ambition is to become a regular and to start more matches across competitions.

Real Madrid’s long-term planning suggests that Brahim remains part of the club’s future vision.

However, nothing is completely untouchable. Should an exceptionally high offer arrive, Madrid would be willing to sit down and evaluate the situation.
