Liverpool have confirmed that Conor Bradley has suffered a 'significant' knee injury.
The Northern Ireland captain was stretchered off after landing awkwardly during the closing stages of his side's Premier League stalemate with Arsenal on Thursday.
Bradley is now set to undergo surgery on the issue in the coming days which is expected to rule him out of the remainder of the Reds' current campaign.
"Liverpool FC can confirm Conor Bradley has sustained a significant knee injury," read a club statement.
"The right-back suffered the issue in the latter stages of Thursday night's Premier League fixture away at Arsenal. Bradley will undergo surgery in the coming days and then begin a period of rehabilitation at the AXA Training Centre.
"No timeframe is being placed on his return to playing at this stage of the process."
Arne Slot's side are next in action on Monday when they host Barnsley in the FA Cup.
