FAIRPORT, N.Y. (WROC) —  In case you didn’t hear, the Buffalo Bills secured a clutch win against the Jacksonville Jaguars in the Wild Card round of the playoffs on Sunday.

News 8’s Dawson LeVan was in the thick of it with local Bills Mafia as the final whistle blew at the Fairport Village Inn. While there, fans shared their feelings about moving on in the playoffs.

After Josh Allen barreled into the endzone for the lead and safety Cole Bishop picked off Jags quarterback Trevor Lawrence to seal the game, the excitement from Bills fans exploded.

Bills fan Rob Wrights said he had faith.

Buffalo escapes Jacksonville with Wild Card win

“I knew they could win today,” Wrights said. “That was a great game. Josh was doing Josh things. They could win any game they play against when they have Josh in the lineup. So, go Bills!”

This is the first away playoff game the team has won since the 1992 season. Jim Gubiodti expressed the energy in the room, describing it all as ‘unbelievable.’

“Like we were like a nervous wreck the whole game. But the bills pulled through,” he said.

With Josh Allen leading the helm as they look towards next week’s game, the fans tell me their outlook on the future is hopeful.

Denny Christiano said, “I think Buffalo can beat any team. I think Buffalo is Super Bowl contenders. Kudos to Sean McDermott and the staff. They give the pep talk.”

The Bills are going to be advancing to the divisional round of the playoffs.
