The possibility of Joshua Zirkzee joining Roma continues to linger.
Despite Frederic Massare’s comments before Roma vs. Sassuolo, the Giallorossi have reportedly not broken off contact and are continuing to closely monitor the situation.
Following the dismissal of Ruben Amorim, discussions have intensified, especially regarding the player.
Zirkzee, according to La Repubblica, has reiterated to Manchester United’s management his desire to move to the capital.
An agreement has already been reached between the Giallorossi and the Dutch striker, but United still need to be convinced to reopen the loan deal with an obligation to buy, which was agreed upon in early January.
Meanwhile, other names have emerged in the last few hours.
Among them are Mathys Tel, currently at Tottenham, and Donyell Malen, who is leaving Aston Villa.
This latter option is intertwined with another ongoing negotiation, that of Leon Bailey, who arrived on loan from the English club, a scenario that could pave the way for a cross-over deal.
