Nico Schlotterbeck (on Sky): "The corner (for the 1-0, ed.) was pretty much perfect, the goalkeeper was blocked and couldn't get to the ball. Then you're standing three metres in front of the goal, you don't have to do much, just stand in the right place. I already had a huge chance against Frankfurt, and now again today. I hope it works out more often in the coming weeks. We're on the right track, but not on a perfect one. We played well against Frankfurt, but we really struggled in the first half today. We played with more confidence in the second half. We still have a few steps to take, but I think we'll manage that in the coming weeks. And then at some point the crucial games will come, as we head towards March and April – and then you have to be ready: in the league, in the Champions League. We had a difficult season last year, and the year before that too. Now we're in a pretty good position. If we continue to win games, things are looking pretty good."

Marcel Sabitzer (speaking to Sky about his goal): "That was a very good moment for me because I'm not scoring very often at the moment. Felix (Nmecha, ed.) can play those passes, I take it, let it bounce once and then hit it really well." More from Marcel Sabitzer on the game can be found here.

Gregor Kobel (in the mixed zone): "We had a difficult start in the first half. But we still defended well in the important moments, scored a goal from a set-piece and went into the break 1-0 up – which was super important, given how the game had gone up to that point. In the second half, we clearly dominated the game. They hardly had any chances. We played very intelligently, solidly and maturely, and then went on to score three goals again."
