One club owners has been explaining how he now believes they will benefit from some transfer deals with Chelsea FC.
We all know the story behind this one and what is going on here. Liam Rosenior has been appointed as the new head coach of Chelsea, moving from Strasbourg.
EXCLUSIVE! Chelsea hold second round of talks to sign 6ft 4in centre back!
But before that, he was manager of Hull City and also spent a long time there as a player. There is certainly a connection that Rosenior will feel with that club.
And on top of all of that, Chelsea and Rosenior are drawn to play against Hull City in the next round of the FA Cup, which is going to be a night of mixed emotions for the former Fulham player.
Rosenior got off to a winning start as Chelsea manager by setting up that fourth round tie against his former club, by thrashing Charlton Athletic 5-1 away from home on Saturday.
But the now Blues boss has said that he is not getting carried away by that result yet and nor should he be to be honest.
The owner of Hull City though, believes that they might now benefit from Rosenior’s move to Chelsea!
Transfer deals between the two?

As reported by The Hull Daily Mail, Acun Ilicali believes Liam Rosenior’s relationship with Hull City can help the Tigers bring in some of the top talents from Chelsea.
“Don’t forget, his nan is from Hull,” the City owner said in conversation with Hull Live. “All the Hull City family is proud of Liam. He won promotion with our club when he was a player, and he has a big love from our fans for his work with us.
“Anytime we need help, I’m sure he will be there for us, so of course it’s an advantage for us because we can also develop his players and give him back to him and make him happy too. I think it will be a win-win situation.
“He’s the best at developing players. He developed Liam Delap, Tyler Morton, Jacob Greaves, and Jaden Philogene. Look at the numbers before him, you will see that he improved them very much.
“He’s the type of manager who can develop players, and this is a big advantage for Chelsea because they have such a big squad and young players, and I’m sure that he will pick some of them in his team and develop them to play at the top level.”
