After a home win over TCU and road loss to Texas Tech, BYU fell from 11 to 13 in the AP Poll released Monday. BYU is one six Big 12 teams ranked along with Arizona, Houston, Iowa State, Texas Tech, and Kansas.
BYU has a bye this week, meaning they have no weekday game and the next game comes Saturday afternoon when they host Utah in the Marriott Center. Utah ended their 0-4 start in Big 12 play when they picked up their first conference win at home over TCU on Saturday. The Utes play at Kansas State Tuesday before they come to Provo. KenPom currently predicts a 92-73 win for BYU.
After the Utah game, BYU then hosts #1 Arizona in the Marriott Center next Saturday. The Wildcats are one of three undefeated teams remaining in the country and are big home favorites this week over Cincinnati and West Virginia. A home win over the Wildcats would be a massive win on BYU’s resume.
