U.S. President Donald J. Trump appeared at the College Football Playoff National Championship between the Miami Hurricanes and Indiana Hoosiers on Monday, Jan. 19.
Trump, who has been at Mar-a-Lago for the long holiday weekend, flew from West Palm Beach on Marine One and landed at North Perry Airport in Pembroke Pines, where he boarded a motorcade to reach the game.
During the signing of the national anthem on the ESPN telecast and on the video scoreboard at Hard Rock Stadium, Trump was shown looking on from a luxury suite.
Trump wasn't the only member of the Unites States' executive branch at Hard Rock Stadium on Monday.
U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio, a Miami native, was on the field during pregame festivities in a scrum of Hurricanes supporters. He was pictured flashing "The U" on camera in support of the Hurricanes.
College football's national championship game drew a star-studded crowd from the sports, entertainment and political world. Celebrity boxer Jake Paul, musician DJ Khaled and billionaire Mark Cuban were on the field for pregame festivities.
