SPRINGFIELD, Mo–The women of Valor were back on the home hardwood Wednesday night.

The Evangel women’s basketball team is ranked 22nd in the national NAIA poll.

And Madi Wallace’s squad took a 14 game winning streak into the game against Oklahoma Wesleyan.

And Evangel was looking for its fifth straight against the Eagles.

It’s the first of a three game home stand for Evangel.

And the Valor wasted little time setting the tone, Heaven Shockley steals the ball, then takes it down the lane and gets the lay up, 10-0 start.

Then Shockley finds Carson Dillard for the three pointer, 13-0.

Evangel attacking the Eagles at the rim, nice pass to Kamie Jenkins for the hoop, Evangel’s up 23-5.

Later off an Oklahoma Wesleyan turn over, Lydia Babirye gets the basket, Valor up by 20.

Still in the first quarter, Babirye splits the defense and takes it to the basket.

She finished with nine points, evin Montgomery led evangel with 14 off the bench.

And the Valor women win their 15th straight game 87-50 over Oklahoma Wesleyan.
