The Bavarians are sick and banged up, there are no two ways around it. Konrad Laimer and Josip Stanišić are injured, Sacha Boey, while Serge Gnabry, Lennart Karl and Dayot Upamecano are all reportedly sick, which could present a headache for head coach Vincent Kompany. Will all of those absences create an issue for the Bavarians? Let’s explore:
- Despite the mass absences, Bayern Munich is still the heavy favorite and will show its quality over visiting FC Augsburg.
- As he did on Wednesday, Harry Kane will take center stage. The Englishman will register a hat-trick and continue his surging form.
- Michael Olise will get himself a goal as well and Luis Díaz will as well to make it a 5-0 game.
- The defense, despite being severely depleted, will stand strong and help get clean sheet for the goalkeeper (in the Bavarian Podcast Works — Preview Podcast, I predicted it would be Jonas Urbig, but it will probably be Manuel Neuer).
