Romeo Lavia has posted a message to social media amid his continued absence after picking up an injury back in November.
Lavia has been plagued by injuries since he joined from Southampton in a deal worth up to £58m in the summer of 2023.
In fact the 22-year-old has made just 30 appearances in nearly three seasons, and has yet to complete a 90 minutes for the Blues.

Lavia hasn’t played for Chelsea since a 2-2 draw against Qarabag in the Champions League in November, and updates have been few and far between.
It was initially reported Lavia would miss at least a month, but it’s now been over two months since he last appeared.

Liam Rosenior confirmed Lavia was back out on the pitch doing rehab, but he offered no time frame on a possible return.
The frustrating thing is Lavia has been brilliant when he’s played, and he’s got a really important role to play for the team.
However, the Belgian has broken his silence as he took to Instagram to post the following message on his story.
“Life update, we’re so back.”
Lavai has made just seven appearances in all competitions this season, and Chelsea will hope he can contribute something in the remainder of the season.

It’s not Lavia who’s struggling with injury, Dario Essugo has also had his own issues, and is yet to feature for the Blues this season.
