Here's chance for readers to weigh in and select the top high school softball player from the Greater Savannah area for the 2025 season.
It was a stellar softball season in the Coastal Empire as three Savannah area teams advanced to the Elite Eight in Columbus.
Richmond Hill had a breakthrough season as the Wildcats earned a trip to Columbus in Class 6A.
Cross-county rivals South Effingham and Effingham County each put together excellent seasons once again. Effingham County won the Region 1-5A Region title, then South Effingham made a run to the Class 5A state championship series where the Mustangs lost to Creekview.
