📝 Inter Miami thumped by Allianza Lima in preseason friendly

Inter Miami's preseason tour kicked off with a bang in Lima, Peru Saturday evening as they ran out 3-0 losers against Allianza Lima at the  Estadio Alejandro Villanueva. 

It was a strong starting lineup deployed by Javier Mascherano, with all of Lionel Messi, Luis Suárez and Rodrigo De Paul featuring from the off.

But a first-half brace from veteran forward José Paolo Guerrero saw the home side race out to a lead before the break. 

The MLS Cup champions continued to struggle in the second-half as Luís Ramos extended the Allianza lead to three.

It's a sour start to the tour in South American for the Herons, but they will continue to build towards the 2026 campaign in the coming weeks.
