Lazio Midfielder Accepts an Offer From His Former Club

Reda Belahyane Set to Leave Lazio in January

Belahyane was initially linked with another reunion with Baroni, this time at Torino, while Cremonese were said to be interested in his services. However, it appears that he’s destined to return to his former employers, Verona, who have been pushing for his signature.

Belahyane Agrees a Return to Hellas Verona

According to Italian journalist Alfredo Pedulla, the young midfielder has already said yes to the Gialloblu, who have already made significant progress in their negotiations with Lazio. The two clubs share a good relationship, so finding an agreement between them shouldn’t be an issue, especially since all parties are in favor of the move.

Lazio Seeking a New Midfielder

In the meantime, the Biancocelesti are searching the market for a new midfielder. Following Saturday’s stalemate in Lecce, Sarri insisted that Kenneth Taylor isn’t considered a direct replacement for Matteo Guendouzi, so the manager is still expecting (or at least hoping) for a right-footed box-to-box midfielder.
