Plan your autumn accordingly.
With the ACC’s release of its 2026 football schedule, we now know the full slate for the Cards this fall.
Here’s what we’re working with:
Sept. 5 or 6 — vs. Ole Miss (in Nashville)
Sept. 11 (Friday) — vs. Villanova
Sept. 19 — vs. SMU
Sept. 26 — vs. Wake Forest
Oct. 3 — at NC State
Oct. 9 (Friday) — vs. Florida State
Oct. 17 — at Syracuse
Oct. 24 — BYE
Oct. 31 — vs. Stanford
Nov. 6 or 7 — at Georgia Tech
Nov. 14 — at North Carolina
Nov. 21 — vs. Pittsburgh
Nov. 28 — at Kentucky
Quick Thoughts:
—Not sure why every home game against FSU (besides 2016) has to be a weeknight, but whatever.
—There certainly won’t be any “we still don’t know how good this team is” talk at the beginning of October if the Cards once again make it through September unscathed.
—Love being back to the one bye game and love having it at the (nearly) midway point.
—Don’t love having just two home games between Oct. 10 and the end of the season.
—Everyone’s going to talk about this being an easy ACC schedule, and the reality is no one knows. Two years ago everyone said we got a “dream draw” and we ended up having to play the toughest schedule in the league. No one ever knows who’s going to be great and who’s going to suck in this conference.
