NC State’s 2026 football schedule presents a big opportunity, just considering which teams aren’t on it. The Pack plays nine league games this fall but only three of them are on the road, and the team also has two separate runs of three straight home games.
There are no Thursday night games this year, though State could end up playing three Friday night games. The ACC’s full 2026 schedule release is here.
Aug. 29 Saturday Virginia (in Brazil)
Sept. 12 Saturday RICHMOND
19 Saturday @ Vanderbilt
26 Saturday APP STATE
Oct. 3 Saturday LOUISVILLE
10 Saturday WAKE FOREST
23/24 Fri. or Sat. @ Stanford
30/31 Fri. or Sat. CAL
Nov. 6/7 Fri. or Sat. DUKE
14 Saturday SYRACUSE
21 Saturday @ Florida State
28 Saturday @ UNC
What’s the toughest game on this schedule, Louisville? Vanderbilt? Cal? Maybe Florida State is going to boomerang back to respectability? The second half of the schedule could end up pretty forgiving, so that four-game stretch beginning with the Vanderbilt game looks critical.
