FC Bayern could miss on a defensive transfer target.
According to a report from Sky Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg, Chelsea FC is working to secure a deal for Rennes defender Jeremy Jacquet in this transfer window before Bayern Munich gets active with Jacquet in the summer:
šØFC Bayern are currently not in negotiations with Jeremy #Jacquetās management or Stade Rennes over an early transfer in the summer.
Bayern are monitoring the situation and remain interested for the summer, but nothing more at this stage. The focus is on extending Dayot Upamecanoās contract. Other (optional) centre-backs under contract: Tah, Kim, Ito, Stanisic.

However, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano says that Bayern Munich is actually involved in talks at this moment:

Who to believe? It probably does not matter much at this stage. Bayern Munich is most likely not getting a deal done for Jacquet in the next few days, but Chelsea and Liverpool could be willing to get a deal done now.
