One of the top offensive coordinators in the state of Alabama is moving up to become a head football coach.
Pike Road (AL) offensive coordinator Logan Colafrancesco confirmed with Rivals Wednesday night that he has been tabbed to become the next head football coach at Pinson Valley (AL).
Colafrancesco oversaw a Patriots’ offense that scored 468 points through 13 games as Pike Road reached the third round of the Alabama High School Athletic Association (AHSAA) Class 6A playoffs, losing to eventual state runner-up Saraland, 56-32.
Whether it was putting the ball up in the air or keeping the rock on the ground, Colafrancesco was one of brightest minds in getting first downs and moving the chains. Pike Road compiled just over 4,600 total yards and scored 59 touchdowns.
This isn’t the first go around for Colafrancesco as a head coach in the Yellowhammer State as he led John Carroll (AL) from 2016-19.
The Indians ended this past season with an 3-7 record and finished ranked No. 55 in the final 2025 Alabama High School Football Massey Rankings.
