The Miami Dolphins are bringing in former Georgia Bulldogs defensive backs coach Jahmile Addae, who won a championship at UGA
The Miami Dolphins have hired former Georgia Bulldogs defensive backs coach Jahmile Addae, who was most recently the Buffalo Bills' cornerbacks coach from 2024-2025. Addae joins Miami under new head coach Jeff Hafley. He will be Miami's cornerbacks coach.
Addae's time in Buffalo came to an end after the Bills fired head coach Sean McDermott following another disappointing playoff defeat. The Bills ended up hiring their offensive coordinator Joe Brady as their new head coach.
Addae coached at the University of Miami from 2022-2023 in his last college football stop. He coached at Miami under head coach Mario Cristobal after his stint with Georgia. Addae won a national championship at Georgia in 2021 after previously serving as the West Virginia defensive backs coach, where he also played college football.
The new Dolphins cornerbacks coach also had college coaching stops at Arizona and Minnesota. ESPN's Pete Thamel reported that the Dolphins were hiring Addae.
In 2025, the Dolphins' secondary dealt with a ton of injuries. Miami will look for better injury luck in 2026 as the Dolphins look to return to the playoffs.
