The Los Angeles World Cup Host Committee announced a five-day Fan Festival that will take place at the LA Memorial Coliseum from June 11-15 to celebrate the start of the 2026 World Cup LA.
The Fan Festival will provide live broadcasts of games and will be the perfect opportunity for fans to celebrate their favorite teams competing in the tournament. Tickets for the Fan Festival will be available for purchase in March.
“For the first five days of the World Cup, the fan festival will be the heart of the World Cup experience for many people in L.A.,” said Kathryn Schloessman, the CEO of the L.A. World Cup 2026 Host Committee, per the LAist.
In addition to the Fan Festival, the LA World Cup Host Committee revealed nine different FanZones that will broadcast the World Cup games for fans unable to secure tickets to the matches. Below are the FanZone locations and the dates they will be open for fans.

When Does the World Cup Begin?
The World Cup officially begins on June 11, the first day of the Fan Festival. Team Mexico will host the tournament opener in Mexico City against South Africa.
Then the following day (June 12), Team USA will host the Los Angeles opener against Paraguay at SoFi Stadium. Team Canada will also host the Toronto opener on June 12 against either Bosnia Herzegovina, Italy, Northern Ireland or Wales.
The tournament spans a total of 39 days, with the World Cup Final taking place on July 19 at MetLife Stadium.
