Remember Bryan Zaragoza?

The sparkplug of a Spaniard brought in by Christoph Freund during the 2024 winter transfer window, who was supposed revitalize the Bayern Munich attack?

Well, that never happened and it set Zaragoza off on a path that he never expected — spending the second half of the season on the bench before being loaned away in consecutive seasons to CA Osasuna and Celta Vigo respectively.

Now, there could be a way out of this mess per Fabrizio Romano:

🚨🟡🔴 AS Roma have now sent formal proposal to sign Bryan Zaragoza from Celta Vigo! The Spanish winger, keen on the move.

Negotiations ongoing to break loan with fee paid to Celta… and new loan with buy option clause offered to FC Bayern.

Talks underway.

Zaragoza has two goals and four assists in 26 games across all competitions this season for Celta Vigo, while tallying 1,420 minutes of field time. A permanent move away from Bayern Munich’s clutches would probably serve the Spaniard well.
