An action packed day lies ahead for Sunderland, with the transfer window ending and a game against Burnley!
What a strange day today is… not only are Sunderland playing on a Monday night, but today is the final day of the winter transfer window, which means there’s probably going to be a whole load of chaos going on around us as we try to prepare to face Burnley! Joining Gav are Jonny and Andrew, not only to give their views on the latest transfer goss, but also to chat about what we reckon might happen tonight at the SoL! On today’s show:
- Sunderland have made some moves in the goalkeeping department, with our former number one Anthony Patterson leaving to join Millwall on loan, whilst a new fella has arrived – 22 year old Swedish stopper Melker Ellborg! Have we done alright out of that?
- Sunday saw a whole host of action for Lutsharel Geertruida, who looked all set to join Premier League Champions Liverpool before a move was kiboshed by Sunlun following some lengthy negotiations. Is it a good thing that we’ve retained him, despite the fact he apparently wanted to leave?
